Answers to what people ask us most. If yours is not here, call or text and ask. We would rather answer it than have you guess.
What does Starkenburg Enterprises do?
Starkenburg Enterprises, operating as SE Mobile Repair, provides mobile repair, service and preventive maintenance for material handling, construction and agricultural equipment. We are based in Medical Lake, Washington and we travel to the customer.
What types of equipment do you repair?
Forklifts, telehandlers, boom lifts, scissor lifts, mini excavators, skid steers, compact track loaders, tractors, UTVs, portable compressors and farm trucks. Material handling equipment is our specialty.
Do you come to our job site?
Yes. Nearly all of our work happens at the customer location. We only bring a machine into the Medical Lake shop when the repair genuinely requires it.
What areas do you serve?
A 65 mile radius from Medical Lake, WA. That includes Spokane, Spokane Valley, Cheney, Airway Heights, Deer Park, Davenport, Colfax, Ritzville, Newport, Coeur d’Alene and Post Falls.
Do you work on all makes and models?
We are independent rather than a brand dealer, so we service most brands and can source parts from whichever supplier fits the repair. If a machine is outside what we do, we will tell you that up front.
Can you service multiple units at once?
Yes, and it usually costs less per machine. Grouping units into one visit spreads the travel across all of them. Fleets on a maintenance plan are handled this way by default.
Do you provide parts?
Yes. We carry common wear items on the truck and source the rest through our suppliers. We can quote original equipment or quality aftermarket parts and let you decide.
Do you offer emergency service?
We work urgent breakdowns into the schedule where we can, and customers on a maintenance plan get priority. Call as early as you can and we will give you an honest answer on timing.
What payment types do you accept?
Card, check and electronic transfer. Established commercial accounts can be set up with billing terms.
How much does a service call cost?
It depends on the machine, the failure and the distance. We quote the repair before we start, and travel and diagnostic time are explained up front so the invoice matches what you agreed to.
Can you set up scheduled maintenance for our fleet?
Yes. We run preventive maintenance routes for single machines and full fleets, with consistent intervals and written records for each visit.
Do you perform annual inspections?
Yes. We inspect forklifts and aerial lifts on site and provide a written report you can keep for your safety and compliance files.
Do you still work on collector and classic cars?
Yes, on a smaller scale than we once did. We also still help clients track down vehicles and hard to find parts.
Do you do automotive repair?
Yes, in the shop at Medical Lake, by appointment. Cars and light trucks, including older vehicles that need patience.
How do I get started?
Call or text with the make, model and symptoms, or send a request through the contact page. Photos and a serial number help us arrive with the right parts.
Still have a question?
Tell us the make, the model and what the machine is doing. We will tell you whether it is something we handle.
